9. 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty Tremor
Finally, the Big Blue is giving a much-needed redesign to its Heavy Duty line of trucks. One we are anticipating a lot is the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty Tremor. The F-350 might be more of a truck than some people need, but if you ask us the bigger the better. It is supposed to go to work and has a proven pedigree for a workhorse.
It can tow up to 37.000 pounds and haul 7.850 pounds without any issues. Ram might be better off with higher torque and tow ratings but Ford is offering a luxurious interior. Inside we get a 12-inch touch screen for infotainment. You can check parking and driving cameras from here and keep an eye on your payload. There will be both leather and suede seats available with contrast stitching to give a bit of a first-class feel.
As far as engines are concerned, Ford got us covered here. We have a 6.2 liter V8 powered by gasoline. This monster can produce 385 horsepower along with 430 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission but you can opt for 10-speed on a super duty truck. There is a choice between rear or all-wheel drive.
More powerful powertrain options are the 7.3 liter V8 which boasts 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. We also have a stroke diesel 6.7 liter V8 that can road with 475 horsepower and dish out 1050 pound-feet of torque. What is interesting about these heavy-duty trucks is the off-roading Tremor package. This means bigger and meaner off-roading tires.
When fully loaded the ride is quite smooth and you won’t feel a bump in the road or off it. We also get adaptive steering for when you change the type of road you drive on. Expect to get around 15mpg on the highway with the Tremor. A diesel stroke engine should be the more fuel-efficient engine.
