4. 2024 RAM 1500 EV
With a lot of trucks going fully electric, Ram followed suit with their 2024 RAM 1500 EV. This is a full-size pickup and it is a challenge to make it fully electric but nevertheless, Ram made it possible. There isn’t too much known about it so far. But RAM unveiled several renders that shed some light on the EV idea they had in mind.
We got a sleek curvy truck with a not too long cargo bed. This might be a perfect cross between a working horse and its utility and the futuristic truck and style that is Tesla’s Cybertruck. The headlights are completely redesigned and come with a fresh design. There is a light bar on the front with small thin headlights at both ends. The latest LED technology will be used to ensure safety and great visibility.
The wheels are enormous which is expected for a full-size pickup. Stellantis, the manufacturer that worked on this truck, revealed the new truck architecture. As with some previous EV vehicles, the batteries, motors and other goodies will be in the middle underneath the truck’s floor. This opens up a lot of space in other parts of the vehicle, for example under the hood where you could place several suitcases or anything you like.
It also adds a lot of stability and makes the drive even better. It will have a fast charging option as well up to 150 kWh and also it will have auto driving. The price for the upcoming 2024 RAM 1500 EV should be around $45.000. A price that might look steep but for an electric truck this well advertised, it is quite fair. Also, the range on the RAM 1500 EV is impressive. It is 500 miles, which is 200 miles further than the longest range F-150 Lightning.
