The world’s best-selling truck is on the track to remain the king still. The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R might change more than we think and it won’t be a carryover model. It might look quite similar to its predecessors but with minor design tweaks and some beefing up under the hood, the new Raptor is going to remain a beast.

It will be made with off-roading in mind but inside the cabin, the Raptor is all about accommodating passengers. The F150 Raptor R can seat five people comfortably and with plenty of legroom and headroom. It is equipped with the latest gadgets and technology. This includes the driver aid system. Artificial intelligence is very popular lately in cars and trucks.

Especially since they can pull drivers out of dangerous situations and alert them if they fall asleep or just doze off. The cargo bed is 5.5 feet long, which is quite standard. Unfortunately, it cannot expand as it is possible on the Avalanche. We have a 12-inch infotainment system to control all the goodies inside. Leather and suede are optional for upholstery. Hopefully, the seats can be ventilated and heated in order to enjoy the ride for longer. After all, this is a working horse and we expect to be sitting in it for prolonged periods of time.

Under the hood is where things get interesting. We have a standard V6 engine. It is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 450 horsepower along with 510 pound-feet of torque. Ford improved the sound with a 3.0-inch exhaust system so it compensates for the lack of cylinders. And the other option is the V8 engine, the same one from Shelby GT500 which most people are familiar with and fell in love with. It is a 5.2-liter engine producing a whopping 700 horsepower. More than enough we are certain. Both engines come with 10-speed automatic transmission.
