2. 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor
No surprise here, one of the top-selling trucks for a couple of years was a sure bet to make the list. It was much improved with a simple redesign and facelift and fans loved it even more. And it needed to be updated since most competitors were improving their trucks including Toyota, Chevy, and Nissan.
The front grille was buffed up and there are new headlights. They are C-shaped now and it adds much-needed style to the Raptor. Ranger Raptor comes with four-wheel drive as a standard. The most interesting powertrain option with the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is the 3.0 liter V6. It is a twin-turbocharged engine powered by gasoline that can produce 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. It should be more than enough to pull you out of tight spots.
This truck was designed with off-roading in mind. So as expected off-roading tires come as standard. The tires are 33 inches with a unique air suspension that has aluminum control arms. We also get shock absorbers from Fox Live Valve. The frame is reinforced to be stronger just in case you get into the bumpy terrain off the tarmac. Skid Plate protection is also present, it has four exhausts and it can jump into Rock Crawl mode to improve climbing capabilities. Or if you like desert terrain it has a Baja setting.
The inside is also improved with small stylish detail changes. The infotainment system is bigger and better and there should also be a driver aid system. The twin-turbocharged beast comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The grille is bigger and wider to improve air circulation. This ensures good temperature under the hood which might come in handy especially when there is dust and dirt and ventilation gets clogged.
