The 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten will be top of the range version of the new electric truck. The FCA is ready for the launch and next sprint we’ll see the EV at dealerships. Everything about the new vehicle is special, but the Tungsten version is bringing stunning touches, such as the Level 4 autonomous drive. The $100k price tag will tell you what to expect from this model.
More electric trucks will be available in 2025. Besides the EV version of the Ram pickup, its main rivals are also preparing debuts. Ford F-150 Lightning pre-orders have already started and General Motors is serious about the electrification, so it won’t take too long before the Silverado 1500 EV joins the party. Tesla Cybertruck is the pioneer in this class.
The 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten will bring the best options. The trim is there for showing off, since not too many truckers are paying $100k for a ride. They would rather improve the performance. Electric truck will offer dual-motor configuration, so it is a more likely addition, rather than premium features and systems.
2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten Accessories
FCA will go all-in with the Tungsten edition. This is not the first time we met this badge. Back in 2018, all Ram trucks were available with a limited model called Tungsten. Now, that will be the trim with the most features for the Ram REV. Details for the EV are not provided, but the new Ram 1500 with an internal combustion engine will also have this package in the lineup.
Some of the highlights are 22-inch wheels; premium leather; 24-way power-adjustable driver’s seat; heating, ventilating and massaging seats; Klipsch Reference Premiere sound with 23 speakers; carbon-fiber details; and much more. Most of those will be there for the 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten. The regular truck offers more than 50 inches of displays. The electric version could have even more.
2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten Specs
The main drivetrain for the electric pickup is a battery that can take you 350 miles on a single charge. Optionally, a more potent unit is there to increase the range to 500 miles. We still don’t know if both options are available for the top of the line 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten.
According to early previews, the truck will be good for 654 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration times are not official yet, but experts believe the pickup will take 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. More important – the Ram 1500 REV can tow 14,000 pounds. That is more than official F-150 Lightning figures, but Ford is yet to introduce a high-performance drivetrain. Ram is also working on the recharging system. A quick 10-minutes charge will restore the battery for the next 100-mile drive. Of course, after 80 percent, the battery refills slower.
Standard Features
The regular truck is a working mule. Yes, you can turn it into a luxury pickup that can be compared to the 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten. There are also lower trims, but also nicely packed, so we can say the entire fleet of the electric pickup can be added to the premium segment. The cabin of the EV is larger, which means more space for passengers. There is no transmission tunnel as well, and underseat storage is a bonus. Speaking of the cargo room, the battery for the electric truck is under the seats, which leaves space under the hood empty. That is a popular “frunk” (front-trunk). Side steps make entrance and leaving the vehicle easier. All Ram 1500 REV models come with power tailgate. Ram Box offers many options, including a power outlet.
The cabin of the electric truck is packed with the most advanced features the company is offering. For example, the latest Uconnect infotainment with a 14.5-inch screen, 360-degree camera and HUD are available for high-end versions, including the 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa are all there. Wireless charging is also familiar to drivers of the gas-powered truck.
Price
The 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten is the top of the range model and everyone expects the price above $100,000. We’ll wait until spring, when the sales are starting, to find out detailed pricing on this model and all others. Our sources informed us that the base cost of the electric pickup will be around $57,000. Don’t expect usual trim levels to be used for the electric pickup, such as Laramie, Rebel, or Limited. A special unit is coming with unique names. Anyhow, FCA is going to offer a variety of options and at least 5 packages. Colors are also unknown. The prototype is painted in dark blue.
In a world where the gas-powered Ram 1500 costs nearly $40,000, everything under $60k is a bargain for the EV. There are plenty of options for the half-ton truck, but the TRX model steals the show with a massive output. It is just under $100,000, which makes it a bit cheaper than the 2025 RAM 1500 REV Tungsten.
