Trucks have come a long way from simple workhorses, nowadays they are a style statement. Also, they can be used for everyday agenda and some light lifting. But this doesn’t mean they lost their main purpose. Which is to be used for the transport of heavy stuff. Ford Ranger is one of the top sellers among all pickups, not just in its own category.
This is for good reason, it has good styling, a nice pedigree, and amazing performance. But Ford decided to make the offer even more appealing by throwing in the Tremor package. For those who don’t know the Tremor package is a whole lot of off-roading equipment. This includes better suspension, improved tires and wheels, and several other improvements. Of course, it also might mean a more powerful powertrain. But, let’s look at the whole picture of the upcoming Ford Tremor.
Interior Upgrades
The new 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor is getting some much-needed updates on the inside of the pickup. There will still be seating for five passengers. This of course includes the new seats which have heating and ventilation. Also, some higher trims might receive a massaging feature as well. There is dual-zone climate control which helps a lot. Moonroof is on offer, so it makes off-roading that much more fun. There should be a brand-made audio system with at least 10 speakers.
The infotainment system is unchanged from the previous version but the dashboard might go fully digital. This enables customization so you can track the information you believe is the most important. Safety features are present as well, you have your standard lane change alert, pedestrian detection, and similar. But also hands-free driving is implemented. This helps drivers relax a bit behind the steering wheel.
Minor Facelift On the Way
The 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor will look similar to its predecessors. The cargo bed is standard length. There will be 18-inch wheel rims made of lightweight aluminum to shave off some weight. The upcoming 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor is coming with a good old and reliable powertrain. We are talking about the EcoBoost which is often available in many of Ford’s pickups. The engine in question is not too powerful but then again, the Ranger isn’t a gargantuan pickup. It is nimble and a bit lighter than its bigger brothers. Therefore, it doesn’t need to have 500 horsepower, we aren’t saying it would be a bad thing. But it simply can do a lot more with far less than other pickups. Although Ford has the option to change things up, we believe the new Ranger will have the same 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharger as the previous model.
We’ve found that this engine gives the mid-size truck enough power to drive on any terrain, and it is not anticipated to alter with the new model. Ford claims that a turbodiesel V-6 will be available in other areas, but we don’t believe it will be available in North America. There are several gearboxes, along with a six-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic, but we believe Ford will continue to include the 10-speed as standard on Rangers in the United States. With a 7500-pound towing capacity, the current model is among the best in the whole mid-size segment, which says a lot. We anticipate the upcoming version to provide a comparable capability.

The new 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor has quite the economic fuel consumption. It can get around 22 mpg of combined driving. This is among the better in that class and is sure to help the Ranger get more orders. Introducing an electrical powertrain would surely help in this regard.
2024 Ford Ranger Tremor Price and Release Date
The fresh 2024 Ford Ranger Tremor will arrive on our roads later this year, probably last quarter. The price and number of amenities we get will depend on which trim level you choose. We have XL for $30000, XLT for $32000, Sport for $34000, Lariat for $36000, and Wildtrak for $40000. The competition is fierce and it will take a lot for the Ranger to come out on top of the class.
the tremor is to low to the ground for a off road truck. It needs at least 2 more inches of ground clearance. I think it should have a 6 cylinder motor.
