2024 Nissan Titan (Hybrid): Redesign, Specs, Price and Release Date

After waiting for a while, fans can finally enjoy the all-new 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid. There were rumors circulating that Nissan was about to pull the plug on the Titan project. Trucks made by Nissan in the mid-size category (Frontier, and Navara) are quite popular. It is safe to say they are top sellers among their peers.

But the full-size truck isn’t doing that good. The reason why Nissan isn’t enjoying the same success rates in that category is unknown. Titan sales dropped significantly in 2020. It was less than 5 percent of what the Silverado was selling. Or less than 10 percent of F-150 sales.

Nissan is trying to turn the tides and win the hearts of drivers all around the globe. The plan is to amaze everyone with electrification. Well, that isn’t very new you would think. After all, we already have the F-150 which is a fully electric truck and similar models. But perhaps Nissan has better technology. This would ensure better mileage, faster charging, and better-towing capabilities.

This fantastic photo isn’t endorsed by Nissan, it is made by carscoops. Let us dig deeper and find out more about the upcoming 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid changes and what makes it so special.

Interior

We will start with the cabin of the new 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid. If you want people to ride in your truck and use it for work you have to make it a nice place to stay. It is as simple as that, period. Nowadays trucks aren’t just working horses that you use to haul and tow. People drive them as a style statement and you can see some very upper-class trucks on the street.

So starting with the interior, Nissan is making moves to win back the hearts of fans. Nissan’s plan was to use a healthy mix of Nissan Rogue and Ariya EV’s interiors. Starting with upholstery we get the choice of suede, leather, and fabric. There are many colors to choose from and also there is contrast stitching. This opens up some nice customization options so you can personalize your truck to your taste.

We will be getting a central infotainment screen. Hopefully, 12 inches in size since it is a full-size truck. That way no one will miss the fun even in the back seat of passengers. Talking about seats, they are heated and ventilated. This means even the longest and bumpiest of rides will be comfortable and that is a huge selling point. Dashboard would be all digital, and this represents just the type of changes Nissan is making to take their vehicle fleet to the future. It would be a good idea to decrease the number of knobs and buttons to a minimum.

The cabin can seat five people comfortably without any issues. Plenty of legroom and headroom in the new 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid. We are still uncertain which cab version will be available but we believe all of them will be four full-size doors.

Exterior

On the outside, the new 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid looks menacing. It is a full-size pickup with a lot of curves and it is great that Nissan forgot about the blocky build of trucks. Nowadays we hope for a more ergonomic, aerodynamic, and aesthetic build. The wheels are huge, it also helps that the tires are beefy, seemingly capable of off-roading. We have a huge front grille that is wide and high. This is to improve air circulation under the hood.

A big truck means a big engine further producing huge temperatures in the engine department. A bigger grill improves circulation and negates overheating issues. There are almost squares like headlights. The Latest LED technology is used to ensure the best safety and visibility.

Also, it would have been nice if I could get a unified LED bar on top of the car for night drives. Both wheels and the front grille are made of alternative materials like aluminum. This shaves off weight and improves the power to weight ratio. This is something everyone desperately wants in a truck this big. Simply because it can greatly improve performance and towing and hauling capacities.

The hood is also designed so it is aerodynamic. All of these aerodynamics features can improve fuel economy and that is something we are always worried about. The cargo bed is among the biggest ones on the market and it can be extended by lowering the tailgate.

This is a front view of the upcoming Nissan Armada, we believe that the new 2024 Titan will have many design similarities with this new Nissan full-size SUV.

2024 Nissan Titan Engine Options

Being gargantuan that it is, the 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid requires a whole lot to move. Currently, there is a 5.6 liter V8 that produces 400 horsepower. This is the best option still for an upcoming remodel.

A hybrid variant is in the works, this includes a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. We are still unsure about the battery pack but we suppose it will be around 200 kWh. Using this system, Titan could get around 600 horsepower and save some fuel along the way.

These are great numbers and will give other manufacturers a run for their money. A 10-speed automatic transmission is the best option here along with the four-wheel drive. Hopefully, there is a fast charge feature. This means you can fill up the batteries in a matter of minutes.

Also using simply the electric motor, rumors are the range is close to 200 miles. So considering all of that 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid sounds like an amazing truck.

2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid Price and Release Date

Starting price for the 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid will be around $37.000. Considering the number of amenities you want in your car and what kind of powertrain, the price can spike up quickly.

There are no official statements considering the release date but we suspect it will be in late 2023.

  1. I have always owned a pickup for its usage and not using it as my city doctor visit or underground parking vehicle. For me the useability features like a bigger bed with an extended cab is more important than a crew cab for the family. I don’t need an SUV mounted on a truck chassis. I find the features are being combined to drive up the image price and not combined for functionality flexability. If your pet slides on leather allow a cloth seat option with an upgraded tow package instead of forcing so called upgrades with certain basic tools. Can you get the 18 or 16 inch wheels instead of the 20 with less rubber!
