It looks like fans will have to wait a while for the new 2023 Tesla Cybertruck. The idea of a Tesla-made truck took the world by storm. Unfortunately, the release of the said truck has been postponed yet again.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is the world’s richest man. He even congratulated Jeff Bezos on his silver medal several times on Twitter. Even though his bank account has a lot of numbers, this won’t make a difference when it comes to speeding up the production of the Cybertruck.
Musk is still to conquer the automotive world with his invention. An all-electric Tesla truck with power and style to fight in the big leagues with the top contenders. We don’t know every single detail pertaining to the new 2023 Tesla Cybertruck. However, we could take a look at what is known so far to gauge everyone’s interest in the upcoming electric truck.
The futuristic-looking 2023 Tesla Cybertruck is all about looking and being modern. We could expect technologically advanced ideas and patents. After all, it is a Tesla product, and they are a synonym for modern technology. The cabin will be able to seat six persons comfortably per reports. Which is quite standard when it comes to trucks. Buyers can look forward to driving inside of a space shuttle-like interior.
With every bit of it looks like it came out of a Star Wars movie. The upholstery will reportedly be high quality, we should hope for leather. To mirror the outside of the car, everything inside the cabin will be blocky and angular. The whole truck looks like it was drawn with a straight ruler. Not saying this is a bad thing. This could be the modern look people have long sought.
The steering wheel has a butterfly design. This idea was also found in Model X and Model S from Tesla manufacturer. When it comes to the dashboard it is as minimal as they get. It will show only what you need and nothing more. The infotainment system is a 17-inch screen with all the controls you might need on your drive.
When announced, the 2023 Tesla Cybertruck was all the rage on the internet. It was even ridiculed for its strange-looking exterior. The design was like something you would see in a 90’s science fiction movie. However, movies moved on from that idea, but Elon Musk didn’t. This design is something we have never seen on the road before, no doubt about that.
So the new Cybertruck could be a breath of fresh air in the automotive industry. Even though the design looks unfinished to some people, Musk assured fans that this is what will roll off the production line. He has hand-tested it and is very pleased with the overall design and how it drives.
The 2023 Tesla Cybertruck is sporting a ridiculously enormous windshield wiper, equipped with a single blade. Also, the side mirrors will be removable, since you cannot drive a mirrorless car on the road per law. If some of you think that the windshield blade is too small, don’t lose too much sleep over it. Reports indicate that the wiper is extendable to cover the whole window. Just a technological gadget we could have expected from Musk.
Tesla is going to use top-of-the-line materials in the production of the 2023 Tesla Cybertruck pickup. The truck is based on a steel exoskeleton, this might be just the hardest thing in the world. Tesla said that it is 30 times rolled steel, this adds to the safety aspect of the vehicle and assures people they are basically driving a fast tank. Newly discovered pictures of the upcoming truck show that it has bare wheels, without steel caps. Which honestly makes it look even better, although they might not be as aerodynamic as they would with the caps on.
The exterior was even tested against a handgun and a sledgehammer and you can guess who won, exactly, the Cybertruck. We have to mention that the screens were broken by a metal ball. Although we have only seen reports about the metallic silver color, we dug up a picture on Reddit. There we see a Tesla employee standing next to the all-black 2023 Cybertruck. It remains to be seen if more colors will be available. Also, Musk has confirmed Black Edition.
Tesla is all about being environmentally friendly. They are continuing that tradition with the 2023 Cybertruck. There are reports that the Cybertruck will have 4 versions. Single motor, dual motor, tri-motor, and quad motor.
The single motor unit will offer 250 miles range on a single refill or should we say recharge. That is the minimum mileage that Musk is willing to offer to its buyers.
The dual motor should increase the mileage to 300 miles. But it is unknown if the quad motor will be able to surpass the 500 miles mark on a single charge. There are 4680 battery cells inside the car. The new spiral design Tesla is using on the Cybertruck is sure to add some performance and mileage as opposed to the previously used batteries.
Tesla claimed that the single motor Cybertruck can go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. Although this sounds slow on paper, keep in mind this is a big truck. It wasn’t made with drag racing in mind. However, the tri-motor unit will go to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, now we are talking about swift. The single motor unit will be able to tow around 7500 pounds while the tri-motor unit can up that number to 14.000 pounds.
Again, no specifications on the quad motor unit, but an extra motor will surely increase performance in all areas of testing. The 2023 Tesla truck will have rear-wheel steering, also it will be able to drive diagonally. This will definitely make parking a piece of cake. The Quad motor unit should be excellent at this since each wheel will have its own motor.
Reports indicate the price will be in the range of $40.000 and $60.000 depending on the number of motors in the truck. Also, there is good news about the Tesla car credit tax being extended, which could save people a lot of money, and save our planet on the other hand.
We still don’t have a particular date for release, but we hope that we get some good news soon. Tesla’s competitors are dropping new cars while all Musk’s company did was delay the truck. Hopefully, this will change soon.
