2023 Ram 1500 Warlock Classic Edition Review, Price, and Specs

Another limited edition is coming our way; everyone gives it up for the 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock. Recently, we got the Denali Ultimate trim as well as the RED edition of the Ram 1500. Now we are getting another classic look with the Warlock outfit.

By dishing out a lot of different trims, Ram makes something for everyone. It will appeal to a larger audience and attract more buyers. This is an excellent strategy that has always paid off for them. It also helps that the RAM 1500 is an excellent pickup and does many things properly. So, let’s see what we can expect with the new Warlock trim.

Interior Features

There will be a lot of upgrades with this trim. The 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock Classic will arrive with premium cloth seats along with heating and ventilating capability. Massage features are not confirmed, but at this price tag, we can expect them. It has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and LED lights under the beds. There is a Uconnect 4C navigation and infotainment system.

This is a top-of-the-line system that offers great connectivity and amazing software capabilities. There will be enough space for five people to sit in the upcoming RAM redesign. Hands-free driving is possible. We suspect RAM will borrow the system since they still haven’t developed their own.

Ram 1500 Warlock Exterior Design

The fresh 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock Classic is exclusively black. This dark-appearance package is quite unique; it has y black. This dark appearance package is quite unique; it has a one-of-a-kind front fascia with dark accents. Even the 19-inch rims are covered in a dark black color. This is sure to turn some heads. There are numerous sensors around the pickup to make parking easier. Other than the dark treatment, Warlock is quite a classic 1500 model.

Engine Specs

The upcoming 2023 Ram 1500 Warlock Classic arrives with the same engines as other 1500 trucks do. This means a choice of four engines that come with top-notch performance. First up, we have a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. This engine comes with eTorque and uses wide-range variable valve timing and two-step variable valve lift for more power and better efficiency. It can produce 305 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. In terms of towing capacity, it is not the best option, at only 7700 pounds.

Next up, we have a 5.7-liter Hemi V8. This also has eTorque technology but a mild hybrid technology as well. This means performance-enhancing technology that adds 130 pound-feet of torque. which brings it up to 410 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower. Towing is generous, maxing out at 127,500 pounds. We also have a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V8 Hemi. For now, this is a TRX exclusive, but hopefully, we can get it on the Warlock as well. It achieves 60 mpg in just 4.5 seconds. It produces 700 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. For diesel lovers, there is a 3.0-liter Ecodiesel V6. It has the best driving range for highway environments.

Over 1000 miles on a single tank. The towing capacity of this diesel beast is 12,500 pounds. It produces 260 horses and 480 pound-feet of torque. The eTorque system helps by providing extra supplemental torque. The genius way designers are helping the Ram 1500 is by providing it with an active air dam. After reaching 30 mph, the front air dam extends 2.5 inches downward and reduces wind drag. This helps with handling, steering, and fuel economy. There is also an active level of four-corner air suspension. This lowers the pickup and also reduces wind drag for better efficiency.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy heavily depends on your choice of engine. The 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock Classic can get 20 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway with the RWD 3.6-liter V6. With the 3.0-liter engine, we get 22 mpg in the city and 32 on the open road. All-wheel-drive 3.0-liter V6 gets 21/29 mpg. The big 5.7-liter engine is a bit thirsty; it gets 17/23 mpg. If they allow people to buy 6.2 liters with the Warlock trim, it will get 10 mpg in the city and 14 on the highway.

2023 Ram 1500 Warlock Classic Edition Price and Release Date

The upcoming 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock Classic is scheduled to arrive at the beginning of 2023. At best, we can expect the fall of 2022. The starting price is $41,000, and considering the competition, it is a great bang for the buck.
